Cheeseburger Casserole

I wanted to make something delicious, warm, and that would last me a while! This dish is some of the best comfort food and works as great leftovers!
1/2 lb of ground turkey
1/2 chopped white onion
14 oz can of diced tomatoes
1/2 T Worcetershire sauce
1/2 t dried oregano
3/4 t salt
1/4 t pepper
8 oz wide egg noodles
1 c of mexican blend cheese
1. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium-high heat, stirring it up so that there's no pink. Drain any fat. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Add the onion to the meat and cook until the onion is tender. Then add the tomatoes (including the juice), the worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt and pepper.
3. Bring it all to a boil then lower the heat to low. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
4. Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Stir in the noodles and boil under tender. Drain in a colander when finished.
5. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray and then add the noodles. Pour the tomato and meat mixture over the noodles. Cover with cheese.
6. Bake casserole for 15 minutes and then serve!
Like I said, its great for a heating up for a few days after!
