Julie's Mexican Dip

Now it is almost impossible to tell how amazing this dip is from a picture so just trust me when I say that this is the best....dip....ever. My mom got this recipe in the 80's and since then its been a demand for every family gathering and holiday party. We still read the recipe off an old memo (see picture below) even though we all know it by heart.
1 block of cream cheese
1 small can of chopped green chiles
1 can Hormel Chili w/o beans
1/3 c chopped green scallions
Shredded 'Mexican Blend' cheese

1. Let cream cheese soften and then spread on the bottom of casserole dish.
2. Top cream cheese with green chiles.
3. Sprinkle Mexican blend cheese over chiles.
3. Now spread a layer of scallions.
4.  Spread Hormel Chili over scallions.
5. Top with the rest of the cheese and a few scallions for color.
6. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25-30 minutes until bubbling. 

Thats it. It's super simple and even the worst chefs will find it hard to mess up. Try adding your own spin on in! (its good with olives on top!)
