Pacific Catch

Saturday was my first day in San Francisco! My boyfriend Matt and I spent part of the day at the Treasure Island Flea Market  as well as Golden Gate Park. We spent the day walking around, checking out the city, and I kept having to pinch myself. I can't believe I get to be in the beautiful area all summer!
After our long day of walking and navigating our way around we decided to head to the Marina District for dinner. We didn't have a reservation so we headed to Chestnut St. to check out the restaurants. We had heard that Tacolicious was good, but it was a long wait so we headed next door to Pacific Catch. According to Yelp, a lot of people have found it the same way we did.
It was a cozy little place with a small bar and a few tables. Matt and I found ourselves in the front corner. I had thought that it was going to be cramped, but our waiters took great care of us.
We started with the Baja Shrimp Ceviche. I liked the flavor and that they served it with chips, but I would have liked to see more shrimp in it.
That night their was a special on their Mahi Mahi, but since we are both on a budget we decided to get the Mahi Mahi tacos because they were much cheaper. You still got a good amount of fish on both tacos and two were enough for a meal.
It came with a spicy seasoning and a verde salsa. All the flavors worked together very well to showcase the tender fish. And the sweet potato fries were to die for. Matt basically licked his plate afterward. They used sea salt on them to give it a more salty flavor to compliment the sweet.
Overall, I really enjoyed Pacific Catch. They have multiple locations so I will probably be eating at one of them again this summer!
