Summer Recipe Roundup: Appetizers

I still have more to say about my trip to Monterey, but I thought I would break if up with a Recipe Roundup. The Fourth of July is coming up and I know you'll be going to lots of parties! I have some easy summer appetizers that use fresh ingredients and look b-e-a-utiful. They are all pretty simple and actually been some of the only things I've been able to make this summer without my kitchen. Enjoy!

1. Petite Caprese Appetizers
These are so simple a child could do it. Perfect if you're running late! I love making this in the summer and using fresh basil and delicious ripe tomatoes.
2. Fresh Guacamole with pico de gallo. Perfect to snack on in the summer while you are drinking a mi chelada. I find its best in the summer since all of the ingredients are in season!

3. Bruschetta. Ok, I know that this is super similar to the first one, but it is a little bit different (no cheese). It's great on Simple Artisan Bread. It's also one of my favorite snacks to whip up during the summer.

Hope these are helpful! Have a great time at 4th of July parties!
