Brunch at French Blue

French Blue restaurant in St. Helena
For brunch in Napa, Matt and I stumbled upon a little place called French Blue in downtown St. Helena. After having a few big meals I was ready for something a little lighter and before we even stepped foot in the restaurant I could tell they would have it. The place looked much like a green house. It was all white with touches of blue and greenery. We sat "outside" which is really a room of all windows (pictured in right side of photograph). All of the windows let in a fresh breeze without making it too hot.
The menu had a good deal of delicious sounding cocktails including a Pink Mimosa (champagne in grapefruit juice) and the Tahitian Lemonade (vanilla infused bourbon with homemade sparkling lemonade). I opted for water to stay hydrated and save money, but if I go back I will definitely try them.
I ended up ordering the Grilled Freestone Peach salad that had feta, candied pecans, and a white balsamic vinaigrette. The warm grilled peaches were fabulous topped on this wonderful salad. Matthew kept stealing bites.
He got the Baked Farm Egg Chilaquiles which was 2 eggs baked on a cast iron skillet with beans, homemade tortilla chips, cheese, tomatillo salsa verde, and fresh avocado. It was so good and I kept stealing bites of his :)
The best part about this place is that they served brunch till 4pm. I believe that breakfast places should serve breakfast all the time and I loved their all day menu. If you are looking for a brunch place in St. Helena, definitely check them out.
