TED Talk for Eating Mindfully

I'll be coming with another post on Friday, but today I wanted to share a great TED talk with you. Lots of people have weight loss goals as resolutions this year. Before I had jaw surgery, I weighed more than 10 lbs more than I do now. I was able to lose this weight because of my strict diet for recovery (a liquid diet that I wouldn't wish on anyone), but it isn't safe to resort to drastic measures to lose weight. Mindfully eating, healthy choices, and exercise are the ways that I've kept myself from gaining this weight back. This video featuring Sandra Aamodt talks about mindful eating and explains why diets don't work.
