We followed the recipe and made grilled corn. It gave it a great charred taste.
With dinner we had some Clos du Bois Sonoma Reserve Pinot Noir. By far one of my favorite wines.
Dad helped me cook the steak and we topped it with the salsa as mentioned before. The steak had a simple marinade, but the salsa really gave it a delicious kick.
For dessert I made a blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry crumble. (Recipe here) I topped it with Jeni's Brown Butter and Almond Brittle ice cream. I'm going to one of her book signings next week and I can't wait to tell you all about it!
