Whole 30 Day 12

7:00Am Faux-oatmeal with berries, almond butter, walnuts, chia, cinnamon, nutmeg and unsweetened coconut
12:00pm Baked chicken breast and roasted rainbow carrots and asparagus
3:00pm RxBar -  I got really hungry.

6:00pm Appetizer with cherry tomatoes, olives, fresh basil, olive oil, balsamic, salt and pepper
7:30pm
Shaved fennel and arugala salad with avocado, roasted beets and citrus vinaigrette (I skipped the bleu cheese)
Flat iron steak and basa fillet with tomato verjus coulis. Cauliflower and asparagus. There was also a corn polenta thing I skipped.
Dessert....JUST KIDDING. I had enough willpower to skip this. I slid it over to Matt .

When I started Whole30, I wanted to make some big changes, but I also didn't want to affect my life in any negative ways. Shortly after starting, my uncle told me that he was in town and wanted to know if I would join him at a work dinner at.a.winery. I wasn't going to pass up a chance to see family or an awesome dining experience so obviously I went. Most of the stuff I ended up being able to eat. Now I can't say for sure if the fish was cooked in a Whole30-approved oil, but I was going to be that annoying person asking those kind of questions, especially since I don't have any real food allergies. Also, I had wine. I already cheated last weekend, so I'm not too worried about it.

Today was kind of weird day in terms of how I felt. I read that the second week of the program, some people ran into digestive issues. Today I had some stomach aches and just overall gurgley-ness in my gut. I have no reason to believe that it was from the food I ate so I'm guessing it had to do with my gut healing. Hopefully it heals soon.
