Whole30 Day 16

7:00 am: 2 scrambled eggs with kimchi, 2 turkey kielbasa, avocado, roasted carrots
12:30 Turkey patty,  salad with butter lettuce and avocado 
6:30pm beef tacos with a lettuce tortilla. Topped with tomato, guacamole and onion. 

Let me tell you a little story about me and coffee. We used to be the best of friends until a little over a year ago, when coffee started being super mean. After drinking it, my stomach would be upset and I would feel gross for a few hours. At first, I tried to put it off on things like stress or not having enough food in my stomach, but eventually I had to face the facts. Coffee made me feel like crap. So I ditched it for tea. I fell in love with tea, but eventually started missing my coffee. I genuinely like the taste and smell of coffee, I don't just use it for the caffeine. So after about 8 months of being off, I started drinking coffee irregularly. I would have it maybe 2-3 times a month, usually on the weekends as a treat. I'm thinking I have issues because of the bitterness of coffee. I recently bought a single serve french press and I have had no issues drinking it.

At work, we got a Keurig and an array of different coffees. Today I saw that we had a light roast and thougth "Hmm, maybe it won't be as bitter?" Boy was I wrong. After half a cup of coffee, my stomach started hurting. Then I got vertigo. I ended up bouncing back in forth between feel weak and sick and nauseous all day today. It sucked. And then by the time I got home, I had a massive migraine. Coffee and I are officially off.

That was a really long way of telling you that today I felt like crap. And the last thing I wanted to be eating was vegetables.
