Whole30 Day 18 + First Time Doing CrossFit

6:30 am Lettuce wraps topped with turkey, scrambled egg, kimchi and avocado. Little breakfast tacos!
12:00pm Salad from Whole Foods with lettuce, chicken, veggies and an olive oil/balsamic dressing

4:00pm Half an avocado

6:45pm Post-workout RxBar

9:30pm Pork tenderloin and cauliflower rice + strawberries
I was feeling much better today. I was still wary of eating too many veggies this morning so I simple wrapped my scrambled eggs with lettuce for an easy breakfast. By lunch I felt 100% so I went full veggie with a salad.

We recently moved into a new office space and we have a CrossFit gym. After work, we did our first team workout. Since moving out here, I was told we would be getting our own gym, so I haven't joined one. Instead I've elected to do a lot of at home workouts and outdoor cardio. In the past, I've done more lifting and strength training, but since I haven't been doing it for the past 3 months, this workout kicked my butt. But I loved it at the same time. I can't wait to do more.

Last night I had the weirdest dream — I was back on campus for some alumni meeting and they had a huge dessert buffet. I was standing there thinking "I can't eat any of this! But I'm only here for a day, its a special occasion! How about I just eat one tiny bite of every little thing?" And then dream me did and I woke up feeling guilty and missing ice cream. I've read that this can happen on the Whole30, but I thought I was past that point. If this doesn't show the power sugar has over us, I'm not sure what does.
